In conjunction with its instrument chronographs and watches, Sinn is renowned for its sports and diving watches. Similar in every aspect to the U1000, however, the U1000 S provides an alternative colour and hardness option. The S model is black and instead of using a tegimented steel hardening, a black hardening material is applied to the underlying stainless steel structure to further strengthen and protect the already massive steel case. Once again a black silicon, fully adjustable band is pictured however, a black hardened steel band is also a suitable and offers an attractive alternative.
